In the past three decades, China's economy has been rapidly growing, people's material and spiritual life has been greatly enriched. Subjective well-being did not increase with the rise of the economy and quality of life. Moreover, the interpersonal trust and social interaction of Chinese residents have not increased significantly with economic growth, and social anxiety has become increasingly prominent. In this context, the relationship between residents' happiness and trust and social interaction factors should be taken seriously. This paper attempts to study this problem, and based on this, discussing how to improve the happiness of Chinese residents. This paper uses the Chinese General Social Survey 2015 data (CGSS2015) and uses the OLS model to study the impact of interpersonal trust and social interaction on subjective well-being. The conclusions are as follows: (1) Interpersonal trust and social interaction have a significant impact on subjective well-being. The decline of these two variables would lead to a decrease in subjective well-being. (2) The impact of interpersonal trust and social interaction on subjective well-being is heterogeneous; that is, the significance of the influence of these two factors on subjective well-being among different groups in China is different. Keywords: Subjective well-being, interpersonal trust, social interaction
