粵語兒童看圖敘事能力分析 : 以澳門某一所幼稚園 K2 兒童為例

English Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to explore oral narrative ability of Macao children whose native language are Cantonese. Participant are nineteen K2 kindergarten children in Macao. Narratives ability are tested through story generation, and children are required to answer some questions which are closely related to the story. Children’s narratives are analyzed in two dimensions: narrative production and story comprehension. In order to understand children’s knowledge of language and organizational skills in language, the narrative production of children is analyzed in both macrostructure and microstructure perspectives. Major findings are as follows. 1. The length of most children’s narratives are short and number of words in use are limited. 2. Children tend to use temporal conjunction as connective strategy. 3. Children tend to use bare noun, pronoun, zero noun as referential strategy. 4. Most children can tell a story with completed structure, including the core elements of a story, namely initiating event, attempt and consequence. 5. It’s easier for children to understand the explicit information than implicit information in a story. 中文摘要 為了解澳門粵語兒童口語敘事能力的發展情況,是項研究之研究對象為澳門某幼稚園19名母語為粵語的K2兒童,並且以自述故事與故事內容的提問的方式蒐集兒童語料。分析向度包括敘事產品與敘事理解能力兩個方面,其中敘事產品包括微結構與巨結構兩個層面,分別用以了解兒童的語言知識與整體信息組織的能力。研究發現: 1. 兒童敘事篇幅短,所使用的詞彙少。 2. 兒童主要使用時間連詞作為連接策略。 3. 兒童在指稱策略中常用純名詞,代詞,零代詞進行指涉。 4. 大部分兒童敘事包括故事的三個基本元素,分別為「引發事件」,「嘗試」,「結果」,結構較為完整。 5. 兒童對故事中的顯性信息的理解優於隱含信息。 關鍵詞:口語敘事能力,敘事產品,敘事理解能力,無字繪本
