"天問" 和 "山海經" 神帝比論 =Comparison of gods in Tian Wen and Shan Hai Jing

English Abstract

Myths are "the bud of religion, the starting of art, the origin of the article"and the source of national imagination. Tian Wen and Shan Hai Jing have made a great contribution to save Chinese mythology. They particularly are two great treasuries of Chinese ancient mythology.Through the comparison of specific myth materials,like the myth of Yi , Gun Yu and Wang Hai ,especially like the God and Gods,we can find that the relationship of myths in Tian Wen and Shan Hai Jing is the mutual confirmation, additions and corrections. This relationship,which comes from its social and cultural background,is not accidental.It is associated with the objective condition of low productivity and the war environment,and the consciousness factor of the feudal social system and of the cultural consciousness Cultural origin. It is precisely because of this relationship and the huge number of myths in Tian Wen and Shan Hai Jing,the internal system of Chinese mythology can be seen,which probably is the greatest mythological value of Tian Wen and Shan Hai Jing

Chinese Abstract

神話是“宗教之萌芽,美術所由起,且實為⽂章之淵源”1 ,是民族想像⼒的 源頭。《天問》和《⼭海經》為保存我國神話做出了巨⼤的貢獻,是我國上古 神話原始紀錄的兩⼤寶庫。通過⼆者具體神話材料羿相關神話、鯀禹神話、王 亥樸⽜神話,尤其“帝”與“眾帝”神話的對⽐,可以發現⼆者互証補正的神話關 係。《天問》和《⼭海經》神話的這種互証補正關係並⾮偶然,⽽是有其社 會、⽂化背景,如客觀物質條件⽅⾯的低⽣產⼒、戰亂背景,以及意識⽅⾯的 封建社會制度和夏夷⽂化淵源。 正是因為《天問》和《⼭海經》的⼤量神話紀錄,以及⼆者相合互証、互 相補正的關係,才使得碎⽚式、⽚斷性的中國神話紀錄,其內在體系為我們所 窺⾒,這⼤概就是《天問》和《⼭海經》最⼤的神話學價值了。
