Title

English Abstract

CROSS-DOMAIN MESSAGING METHOD FOR E-PAYMENT by Hou Haoyuan Thesis Supervisor: [Click and type academic title of supervisor then type name of supervisor] [Click and type your program name] This thesis has proposed a novel payment envelope concept exchange framework (PAYTEX) in a collaborative network to enable cross-domain payment messages envelope information sharing and payment envelope exchange in a semantically consistent way. The approach to this framework is motivated through presenting some real-world examples of payment envelope with messaging methods. By these examples, three problems are detected on how to achieve semantic commonality between cross-domain payment messaging vocabularies for E-Payment messaging method mediators and how to allow specificity of cross-domain common payment envelope template for local E-Payment messaging method designers yet still maintaining semantic consistency. To sole these three problems, this thesis has firstly reviewed CODEX technologies relevant to the newly developed PAYTEX approach, which includes a PAYTEX framework, a P2P collaborative payment messaging concept mapping model and an electronic payment envelope template model. These two models have been demonstrated by examples and provide a justified approach to see how they should work.
