As perspectivas de leitura trabalhadas em diferentes tipos de manuais didaticos

English Abstract

ABSTRACT Reading, as an important constituent part of linguistic activity, occupies a significant position in linguistic research. Reading mode and its application has become a hot topic of second language acquisition. Effective reading mode is of great importance to improve the second language acquisition quality. Teaching material is the major basis when teachers organize the classroom teaching and its quality is related to the quality of foreign language teaching directly during the language learning. Thus, the proper teaching material is of great significance in foreign language teaching. The reading mode is theoretical research while the compilation of teaching materials is practical application. How to put theory into practice, in other words, how is reading theory put into use, is the core of the paper research. The history and current situation of reading mode research are reviewed and the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, utilization and application of traditional bottom-up reading mode and interaction reading mode are analyzed in this paper. On the basis of theoretical review, two teaching materials ‗University Portuguese‘ and ‗The 21st Portuguese‘ , which have high usage of Portuguese learning in China, are chosen to research. Then, the data can be acquired to study the differences and similarities of architecture, layout forms, kinds of questions and the amount of questions in two teaching materials by statistics, analysis and antithesis etc. On this basis, the relationship between exercises layout and reading mode can be analyzed and the expressions, features, advantages and disadvantages of two teaching materials in two reading modes can be summarized. This research has important theoretical significance and application value for the development of reading mode theory and the improvement of foreign language teaching materials and teaching work of reading.
