Simulation of forced convective heat transfer of nanofluids in microchannels

English Abstract

In this thesis, numerical simulation models of forced convective heat transfer of nanofluid in micro rectangular channel were built up. The cases with different flow rates and different concentrations of Titanium dioxide nanofluid were simulated. The numerical models were verified by compared the temperature with the existing experiment. Results clearly show the perform of fluid flow and energy flow. Coefficient of heat transfer and energy balance were discuss to study the cooling efficiency improvement by nanofluid.
