This work contains two main parts, commented translation and translation of the dramatic text, Otto Lara Resende ou Bonitinha, mas ordinária, written by Brazilian playwright Nelson Rodrigues. Considering the basic feature of the dramatic text, being read or to be staged. Therefore, before starting this work, the translator has already determined the purpose of translation of the text to be staged, based on this, during the translation process, used the strategies which is more concentrated in the dramatic translation according to the Jiří Levý Mona Baker and Susan Bassnett’s translation theories
