With economic globalization, more and more immigrants coming to Macau. Macau becomes increasingly multilingual and multicultural. In the process of integration of immigrants, the official languages of Macao and the use of language play an important role. Portuguese is the official language of Macau, but is not a language of most of the population; the most spoken language and "host" is the Cantonese. But the growing demand of their learning reveals that the Portuguese language affects the life and work of a large part of citizens (including immigrants). Have proficiency and skills in the language of the host country facilitates the integration of immigrants into their host societies (Baganha, 2004; Grosso, 2007; Van Avermaet, 2008;). We chose the Filipino immigrants (the target group) as our research participants, since the Filipino community is the third largest immigrant community and the largest foreign community in Macau, considering that this might give a contribution of more valid for our empirical study. This work aims to verify that if the Portuguese the host language of Macao and if the Filipino immigrants, in the host context of Macao, need to know or use the Portuguese language in different contexts; identify the use and the role of the Portuguese language in the Filipino community; and also present factors that will influence their social and professional integration in Macau. To this end, it was applied and analyzed 50 inquiry by questionnaire to 50 Filipino immigrants of different sexes and different professions; and used a quantitative methodology which allows to deepen the knowledge about the presence and role of the Portuguese language in Filipino immigrants in Macau. And also carried out the analysis of the content as a qualitative study for a better understanding of the collected data.

随着经济全球化进程的加快，越来越多的移民抵达澳门。澳门已成为一个越来越 多语言和多文化的社会。在移民和澳门社会的融合过程中，澳门的官方语言和语言的使 用起着重要的作用。葡萄牙语是澳门的官方语言，但不是使用人口最多的语言，使用最 广泛的语言和“宿主语言”是粤语，但不断增长的葡萄牙语学习的需求表明，该语言影 响着大部分澳门居民（包括移民）的工作和生活。有能力和技能使用东道国的语言，能 够促进移民融入当地社会（Baganha，2004；Grosso，2007; Van Avermaet，2008;）。我们 选取菲律宾移民（目标受众）作为我们的研究对象，因为菲律宾群体是澳门的第三大移 民群体以及最大的外国群体，考虑到这可能会对我们的实证研究提供一个更有效的作用 和贡献。本篇论文的目的是确认葡萄牙语是否为澳门的宿主语言，以及菲律宾移民在澳 门社会的背景下，在不同的场合是否需要了解或使用葡萄牙语；指出葡萄牙语在菲律宾 群体中的使用情况和作用；同时也提出菲律宾移民融入澳门社会以及所从事的职业的影 响因素。为此，对 50 名不同性别和不同职业的菲律宾移民采用问卷调查形式。采用量 性研究方法，可以加深了解葡萄牙语对在澳门的菲律宾移民的存在和作用状况；也使用 质性研究的方法对收集到的数据内容进行分析，以便更好地理解这些数据。
