Title

Exploring mental health profiles of Mainland Chinese migrant postgraduates at University of Macau

English Abstract

Currently, increasing numbers of Chinese Mainland postgraduates attend University of Macau (UM). However, very few researchers paid attention to Mainland Chinese students at UM, and neither has there been any focus on the mental health concerns that these students might have. The present study tries to explore the mental health profile of such group. Six important variables including language proficiency, graduate stress, acculturative stress, sense of belonging, resilience, and personal meaning of life, are hypothesized to have significant correlations with general mental health.
