Title

漢日被動句比較 : 以 "挪威的森林" 為例 = A comparative study of passive sentences between Chinese and Japanese : take Norwegian Wood as an example

English Abstract

Passive sentences are one of the basic sentence patterns of languages, but their means of expressions are different in different languages. We can have better and in-depth understanding on languages through conducting a comparative study of the structures and expressions of their passive sentences. Therefore, the writer attempts to investigate the nature and diversity between Chinese and Japanese from the perspective of their passive sentences. In this thesis, the writer firstly classified the passive sentences which were mainly selected from Norwegian Wood, and then analyzed the reasons for the differences of passive sentences between Chinese and Japanese from the aspects of transitive verbs, intransitive verbs, verbs as attributives, word order of nouns, sentence structures and context of using passive sentences, which also provided a supplement to previous studies.
