Abstract Logistics system is an important subsystem of economy system. If the logistics industry lags behind the economy, it will become a restrictive factor preventing increase of overall economic and social benefits. However, if the development of logistics is excessive, it will also lead to the waste of resources. Therefore, it is important to keep the balance of the development between logistics industry and economy. As the forefront of China's reform and opening up, Guangdong Province, is expected to get a balance relationship between logistics system and economic development. To check this, the thesis utilizes an economic tool called co-integration to perform the quantitative analysis. Besides, the thesis will also analyze the trend of future development of the relationship between logistics system and cconomy in Guangdong Province.
