初中生生活壓力、因應策略與自我傷害的相關研究 = A study of the relationship between life stressors, coping strategies, and self-injury in junior high school students

The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship among junior high school student's life stress, coping strategies and self-injurious behavior. We aimed to (l) know the prevalence of sclf-injurious behavior in junior high school,(2) investigate the differences among life stress, coping strategies and general variables between self-injured experienced and unexperienced students. The method adopted was survey research. Seven hundred and thirty three subjects were randomly selected from four junior high schools in Macau. The findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1. The prevalence of self-injurious behavior among students from the four junior high schools was 10.1%. 2. According to life stress aspects, there were significant differences between self-injurious experienced and unexperienced adolescents in the total stress scores, "lack of confidence",“parent-child alienation”, “lack of learning ability", “academic anxiety”and “family conflict”. 3. According to coping strategies, there was significant difference between self-injurious experienced and unexperienced adolescents in “emotional catharsis". 4. There were no significant differences between self-injurious experienced and unexperienced students in the gender and the grade level. 5. There were significant differences between self-injurious experienced and unexperienced students in the parenting styles and the peer who had self-injurious behavior. Based upon the above results, discussions and suggestions were presented. Key words: Junior high school student; Life stressor; Coping strategies; Self injurious behavior

摘要 本研究的主要目的是了解本澳初中一至三年級學生的生活壓力及因應策略與自我傷害行為的關係,包括1.初中生自我傷害行為的發生率;2. 有、無自我傷害行為的學生在生活壓力、因應策略及一般變項中的差異。本研究以本澳初中一至三年級學生為母群體,隨機抽取四間中學共733名初中生為受試者,透過問卷的形式進行研究。本研究主要發現如下: 1. 在所調查的四所學校中,初中生自我傷害行為的發生率為10.1%。 2. 在生活壓力上有自我傷害行為者在壓力總分以及「缺乏自信」、「親子隔閡」、「學習能力不足」、「課業焦慮」及「家庭衝突」這五個分量表上的壓力顯著高於無自我傷害行為者。 3. 在因應策略方面有、無自我傷害行為者在「情緒發洩」上有顯著差異。 4. 在一般變項方面,不同性別及年級的初中生在自我傷害行為上無顯著差異。 5. 有、無自我傷害行為者在父母管教方式及朋輩的自我傷害行為上有顯著差異。 本研究最後根據研究結果進行分析討論,並提出相關的建議。 關鍵詞:初中生;生活壓力;因應策略;自我傷害行為
