情緒、情緒智力與道德推理之關係研究

English Abstract

The aims of this study are to investigate the correlation among emotion, emotional intelligence and moral reasoning. There are 94 high school students in this study: 60 girls, 34 boys. The researcher used the Chinese version of Rest's Defining Issues Test (DIT) to examine the capacity of students’ moral reasoning and, and a self-revised Emotional Intelligence Scale initiated by Schutte et la. to measure emotional intelligence of the subjects. One way ANOVA, t test and Pearson Product Correlation are computed to examine the relations among variables studied. The results of this study are as follow: 1. There is an effect of mood on the response time of moral reasoning, showed the elate subjects (happy condition) performed shorter time than sad subjects (sad condition), and the sad subjects took the longest time among three mood conditions. There is a significant difference in taking time between the elate and sad subjects. 2. A one-way analysis of Variance among the mood conditions for the moral reasoning of subjects showed there is no significant difference. 3. There is a significant difference between boy and girl's moral reasoning, but no significant gender difference in emotional intelligence. 4. There is no significant relationship between moral reasoning and emotional intelligence for all subjects. Reviewing recent literature of studies on mood and cognition, this study extended the theories and predictions of the those studies to the moral context for the purpose of exploring our moral reasoning capacities in real life and enriching our current understanding from moral educational situations. Chinese Abstract

本研究旨在瞭解情緒、情緒智力與道德推理之關係。本研究以澳門的高中學生爲研究對象,人數共94人,其中女生60人,男生34人,並以Rest的DIT的中文版「社會問題意見調查表」測量受試者的道德推理能力,以及翻譯Schutte等人編制的「情緒智力量表」為研究工具。本研究探用問卷及播放影片形式進行測試,其後研究者將結果分別就不同變項的差異性以單因素方差分析方法,t檢定及皮爾遜積差相關進行統計分析。研究結果如下: 一 不同的心境會對個體的認知過程有一定的影響,因爲在本研究中的三種心境下的受試者,使用道德推理時間有顯著異,尤其以開心與悲傷心境兩者的差異最大,開心心境下的受試者使用時間最短,而悲傷心境受試者使用時間較長。 二 三種心境對個體的道德推理能力影響不大,因為三組受試者觀看影片後,其道德推理能沒有顯著差異。 三 道德推理方面,在性别上是有顯著差異,女生優於男生。在情緒智力方面,並沒有顯著差異。 四 情緒智力與道德推理沒有顯著相關 回顧過往有關情緒與認知的文獻,本研究是延續這方面的探討,從情緒影響認知的角度,了解情緒對個體的道德推理的影響。希望通過本研究讓社會及教育界對青少年的道德發展有更多的了解和關注。 關鍵詞:道德推理、情緒智力、心境、情緒
