澳門大學生自我概念與家庭系統之相關研究

English Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between college students’ Self-concept and their Family Systems. To fulfill the aim, the survey tools were “Self-concept Scale” and “Family Adaptability and Cohesion Scale”. 548 subjects were randomly sampled from four main universities in Macau, which include University of Macau, Macao University of Science and Technology, Macao Polytechnic Institute and Institute For Tourism Studies. Data were analyzed by the method of descriptive and inferential statistics, including t-test, one-way ANalysis Of VAriance between groups (ANOVA) and Pearson correlation. The major results of the study are as foliows: A. The college students scored best in the Family Relationship base on the Self-concept Scale, and scored worst in Emotional Management. B. The Cohesion of the college student’s family is better than the Adaptability. And according to the study, the percentage of the balanced family, mid-range family and extreme family is 60.6%, 18.1%, 21.4% respectively. C. In Self-concept Scale, male students scored higher in Emotional Management than female students, yet female students scored higher in Family Relationship and Social Interaction than male students. D. Statistically, there was no significantly difference on Self-concept between students of different year levels. E. In Self-concept Scale, the students with single-parent family scored lower in Family Relationship than the students with both-parents family. F. In Self-concept Scale, students with extreme family scored higher in Social Interaction than the students with balanced family. G Statistically, there was no significantly difference on Family Adaptability and Cohesion between students of different gender. H. The students which the only child scored higher in Cohesion, Adaptability and the total scale than the students who have one or more brothers and/or sisters. I. The students with both-parents family scored higher in Family Adaptability and Cohesion scale than the students with single-parent family. J. There is correlation between Self-Concept Scale and the Family Cohesion and Adaptability Scale, especially on the Family Relationship. Key words: Self-concept, Family System, Cohesion, Adaptability

Chinese Abstract

本研究主要目的在探討澳門大學生自我概念與家庭系統之相關情況。根據研究目的選取「自我概念量表」和「家庭親密度和適應性量表」作為研究工具,並以澳門四所主要大學:澳門大學、澳門科技大學、澳門理工學院和澳門旅遊學院之大學生作為研究對象,採用隨機抽樣的方法抽取了548人進行問卷調查,對所收集的資料,主要運用t檢驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關等統計方法來驗證假設。 本研究主要發現: 一、大學生之自我概念在「家庭關係」的層面上得分最高,在「情緒管理」層面上得分最低。 二、澳門大學生家庭的「親密度」比家庭的「適應性」要好。在548個樣本中平衡型家庭佔60.6%、極端型家庭佔21.4%及中間型家庭佔18.1%。 三、在自我概念上,男生的「情緒管理」表現明顯高於女生;而在「家庭關係」和「社交互動」上女生的表現明顯高於男生。 四、在年級方面,大學生之自我概念沒有明顯差異。 五、雙親家庭之大學生之自我概念在「家庭關係」上的表現明顯高於單親家庭之大學生。 六、極端型家庭 之大學生之自我概念在「社交互動」上的表現明顯高於平衡型家庭之大學生。 七、在性別方面,大學生之家庭系統沒有明顯的差異。 八、為獨生子女家庭之大學生在「親密度」、「適應性」及家庭量表整體上均顯著高於有一個或以上手足之大學生。 九、雙親家庭之大學生在家庭系統上,明顯較單親家庭之大學生要好。 十、自我概念的各量表與家庭系統各量表均呈正相關。特別在自我概念中的家庭關係及整體與家庭系統的各量表呈較高的相關。 關鍵詞:自我概念、家庭系統、凝聚力、調適性
