澳門學前及小學特殊兒童家長親職壓力與相關因素之研究

English Abstract

Abstract The focus of the study is to examine parenting stress and its related factorsamong parents of preschools and primary schools'special children in Macao. Theresearcher mainly used “Parenting Stress Index/short form” and background data to examine the similarities and differences of parenting stress between mothers and fathers of special children in Macao; the parenting stress between parents of preschools and primary schools’ special children; and the correlation of parenting stress between child's characteristics, parents’ characteristics and family background. 172 special children samples (168 mothers and 137 fathers) were collected in this study and 133 paired cases have answered the questionnaire. The study found: 1) parenting stress of special children's mothers are higher than fathers’, both for preschools and primary schools' special children; 2) parenting stress of primary schools special children's parents are higher than preschools special children's parents; 3) the background variables that parenting stress for both mothers and fathers are significantly different-child's age and level of disability, mothers' educational level and occupation, fathers’ age and educational level, and family income; the background variable that parenting stress for mothers is significantly different -number of children in a family; however, the background variables that parenting stress for both parents are not significantly different-child's sex, mothers' age, fathers' occupation, ranking of special child in the family, parents' marriage status and religion; factor that parenting stress for fathers is neither significantly different-number of children in a family. In the conclusion and discussion chapter, the researcher extends the discussion for the parenting stress in parents of preschools and primary schools special children. Moreover, the researcher also puts forward some suggestions and ideas for further study. Key words: Macao Parenting stress Special children Preschool education Primary school education

中文摘要 本研究旨在了解澳門學前及小學特殊兒童家長親職壓力的情況,以及其親職壓力之相關因素。研究主要利用「短式親職壓力量表」(Parenting stress index-short form)及基本資料了解澳門特殊兒童母親與父親的親職壓力情況、學前與小學特殊兒童家長的親職壓力情況,以及了解特殊兒童家長的親職壓力與兒童特質、家長特質及家庭特質問之相關情況。 本研究中共收集了172個特殊兒童樣本,當中特殊兒童母親及父親樣本分別168及137人,而雙親均有作答馬133對父母。 研究結果發現,特殊兒童母親之親職壓力均大於父親,不論是學前或小學的特殊兒童。而小學的特殊兒童父母其親職壓力則大於學前特殊兒童的父母。此外,特殊兒童年齡、特殊兒童障礙程度、母親教育程度、母親就業與否、父親年齡、父親教育程度、主要照顧者、家庭經濟收入之不同,在父母的親職壓力上均達到統計上之顯著水準;家中子女數不同,在母親親職壓力上亦達到統計上顯著水準;但特殊兒童性別、母親年齡、父親全職工作與否·特殊兒童家中排行、父母婚姻狀況、宗教信仰之不同,在父母的親職壓力上均未達到顯著水準:家中子女數不同在父親親職壓力上亦未達到顯著水準。 在總結與討論的部份,研究者就本研究所得到的研究結果,對學前及小學特殊兒童家長的親職壓力情況作出討論,並對未來的研究提出建議。 關鍵詞:澳門親職壓力特殊兒童學前教育小學教育
