澳門青少年生涯自我概念之相關因素研究

English Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current situation of career self-concept of adolescents in Macau. Individual factors, family factors, and school factors influencing adolescent career self-concept were also investigated. Using Adolescents’ Career Self-Concept Questionnaire, 832 subjects from 9th to 12th grade students in Macau reported their career self-concept in this study. Descriptive Statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, canonical correlation and multiple regression analysis were applied to analyze data. The main findings were as follows: (1) The whole career self-concept of adolescents tended to be clear, but there were differences between five subscales of career self-concept. (2) Gender in whole career self-concept was not significant for adolescents, but the differences among adolescents at different grade levels were significant. In additions, there was significant positive correlation between personality traits (including extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and intellectual openness) and career self-concept. Also, there was significant typical canonical correlation between personality traits and career self-concept. (3) The correlation coefficients among the factors of socioeconomic status, parenting style, the relationship with parent and the career self-concept were statistically significant. Also, there was typical canonical correlation among family factors and career self-concept. (4) The differences among adolescents with different academic achievement were significant, and also there was significantly positive correlation and typical canonical correlation between the school life, the influence of peers and career self-concept. (5) Personality traits (including agreeableness, conscientiousness and intellectual openness), school life, academic achievement and the active request of parenting style made significant contribution to predict adolescents’ career self-concept. Finally, based on the research findings, implications for education and guidance were discussed. Suggestions for future research were also proposed. Keyword: career self-concept、adolescent

本研究旨在探討澳門青少年生涯自我概念的發展現況以及個人變項、家庭變項、學校變項對生涯自我概念之影響。研究過程以叢集抽樣方式,抽取澳門五所中學初三至高三年級共 832 人為研究樣本,並以「青少年生涯自我概念問卷」為研究工具,實施問卷調查。所得資料以描述統計、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson 積差相關、典型相關及多元迴歸分析等方法來考驗各項假設。研究主要發現如下: 1.青少年整體生涯自我概念趨向清晰,但在生涯自我概念五個向度上有差異;2.在個人變項方面,青少年整體生涯自我概念不因性別而有差異,但就讀不同年級的青少年在整體生涯和自我概念及各層面上(除生涯價值外)均存在非常顯著差異,同時人格特質中的外向性、和善性、嚴謹自律性、聰穎開放性與生涯自我概念呈現顯著的正相關,且人格特質與生涯自我概念之間有典型相關存在;3.在家庭變項方面,家庭社經地位、父母教養態度、親子關係與青少年生涯自我概念有顯著正相關及典型相關存在; 4.在學校變項方面,不同學業成績的青少年在生涯自我概念上達顯著差異,學校生活、同儕影響與生涯自我概念之間有顯著的積差相關和典型相關存在;5.人格特質中的「聰穎開放性」、「 嚴謹自律性」及「和善性」,與「學校生活」、「 學業成績」,以及父母教養態度中的「主動要求」對青少年生涯自我概念具有預測力。本研究最後分別就教育輔導及未來研究上,提出相關建議。 關鍵詞:生涯自我概念、青少年
