澳門小學書法教學研究

English Abstract

Calligraphy, a fine c ultural treasure of the Chinese nation, is worthy of our cultivation and passing on from generation to generation. Calligraphy teaching nowadays, however, has not borne remarkable results as impeded by a lack of organized course materials, shortage of teachers and expertise, as well as teachers unfamiliar with teaching methods of calligraphy. When poor teaching has eventually undermined students’interest in the subject, finding the solution is certainly a top priority. Envisaging that only a very small amount of study had been carried out on calligraphy teaching in Macao, the researcher in this thesis undertook to probe into the current situation of calligraphy teaching in Macao primary schools, hoping to offer effective suggestions to bencfit calligraphy teaching. The objective of this study was, by grasping whether precise goals had been set for calligraphy teaching in Macao primary schools; how course materials had been selected; if class hours had been appropriate; how effectively teaching methods had been employed; against what criteria students' performance had been measured, etc., to make better calligraphy course module design possible. It was in this light that literature analysis, questionnaire survey, and interviews conducted rendered feedback on calligraphy teaching design as well as serving as the basis for further improvement. The study initiated with a probe into the basic literature of calligraphy teaching, and through subsequent questionnaire survey and interviews on the subject, a thorough understanding of the current result of calligraphy teaching in Macao priinary schools as well as how interested students had been in the subject was gained; furthermore, by synthesizing, analyzing and inducing the data collected, specific suggestions on calligraphy teaching were then made. Subject literature analysis, in- depth interviewing and questionnaire surveying were the tools for research in this study. In terms of structure, the thesis comprised seven chapters: Chapter I, Introduction; Chapter II, Literary Review on Calligraphy Teaching; Chapter III, The Design of Research; Chapter IV, Physiological and Psychological Developments (Within School-age Period) of Primary Students; Chapter V, A Summary on Calligraphy Teaching; Chapter VI, Calligraphy Course Module Design; and finally Chapter VII, Conclusion and Suggestions. Based on the abovementioned objective and research methods, the study came to the following conclusion: there should be precise goals for calligraphy teaching in Macao primary schools, with emphasis on knowledge, sentiment and technique at the same time; a variety of teaching methods should be employed to motivate students to learn; more organized course materials should be prepared and course hours properly arranged; there should be many different ways to evaluate students’ performance in order to give them a greater sense of achievement. And the suggestions were: Macao educational authorities should allocate more resources to calligraphy teaching and recommend the subject to be taught by teachers specialized in calligraphy education; course materials should be compiled by the government to bring better results to both teaching and learing; greater attention should be given to the training of teachers to improve their professional quality; Calligraphy teachers should be given greater access to and more opportunities for training. At the same time, primary schools in Macao should arrange for calligraphy classes to be conducted by teachers specialized in calligraphy education to enhance the quality of teaching; establish necessary facilities and calligraphy classrooms to create the proper environment and ambiance for calligraphy learning; organize more calligraphy exhibitions and encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities. Parents in Macao, meanwhile, should try to alter the prevailing pro-examination educational system and give art education a higher place; they should also join their children in community and school calligraphy activities to enhance parent-children relationship. 書法是中華民族優秀的文化瑰寶,有賴我們繼續推展與發揚。檢視現今書法教學成效並不理想,教材沒有系統,師資不足且欠缺專業性,老師不懂書法教學法等。書法教學的不足,直接影響學生的學習興趣,要解決此方面的問題已成為當務之急。當今,澳門對有關書法教學方面的研究相當不足,因此,研究者以此為出發點,以「小學書法教學研究」為題,探討現時澳門小學書法教學情況,以為小學書法教學提出有效的建議,和作為改進教學的參考。 本研究的目的是希望瞭解澳門小學書法教學的目標是否明確;教材的選擇如何;教學時間是否適當;如何進行有效的教學方法;教學評量的準則如何等方面,作為書法教學單元設計的參考。分析文獻和問卷調查、訪談等,以作為書法教學設計的回饋與改進的依據。 本研究從書法教學基礎文獻內容探討作為起點,進而對書法教學進行問卷調查和訪談,以瞭解現時澳門小學書法教學的成效,學生對學習書法的興趣,綜合分析歸納以提出書法教學具體建議。本論文的研究方法運用了文獻分析法、深度訪談法、問卷調查法等。本研究的架構包括第一章緒論;第二章書法文獻探討;第三章研究設計;第四章小學生(學齡期)生、心理發展;第五章書法概述;第六章書法教學單元設計;第七章結論與建議。依據上述的研究目的和方法,本研究獲得以下的結論是:澳門小學書法教學目標應明確,知、情、技並重;小學書法老師應善用多元的教學法,激發學生學習興趣;教材應有系統、課時的安排應適當;書法老師利用多元評量,提升學生成就感。而建議是:澳門教育當局方面應投入書法教學資源,鼓鼓勵専科専教;政府編訂教材,促進教學成效;重視書法師資培訓,提升教師的專業性素質;增設書法教師培訓的渠道,提供更多的進修機會。而澳門小學方面則要安排專科專教書法教師,有助書法教學的提升;設置相關設備和書法教室,營造學習書法的環境和氣氛;多舉辦書法展覽,鼓勵學生多參與校外活動。澳門的家長方面要改變應試教育制度,提升美育修為;親子共同參輿社區、學校書法活動,促進親子溝通。關鍵詞 一、澳門 二、書法 三、教學 四、小學書法教學
