This thesis focuses on an analysis of the literary work of Ao leong Chi, through an understanding of her ways of thinking, so as to explore the real meaning behind her work, It also gives readers in HK & Macau an introduction to the importance of the contribution this Taiwanese author has made in literary development, First, in my introduction, I will indicate the reason for choosing the topic of Ao leong Chi and the affirmation towards the scholar. This thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter I gives an account of how Ao leong Chi begins her literary creation, and during the different phases of her writing, she keeps forging ahead in putting her literary creation into practice, and develops a new style of writing. Chapter I traces the progress in her way of thinking and the process of her growth, and the relationship between the background of the times and her literary creation. Although the torture of her eye illness, she is still very eager in her writing career as she expresses her feelings towards life. I will make extracts of some of her related sentences and share her life experience while in adversity. Moreover, through the analysis of the theme and characters in her novel “Autumn Leaves", we get an understanding of the similarities and differences between the life in her creation and real life. In Chapter III, in regard to the conflicts initiated by the literary scholars' criticism towards her novel “Autumn Leaves", I will make extracts of the criticism of the scholars and the responses made by Ao leong Chi. Through this analysis, we can get an understanding of the real motives behind her literature creation. In chapter IV will introduce of Ao leng Chi and modern literary relationship and achievement, In chapter V will be the conclusion and research results.

本論文通過對歐陽子心路歷程的了解，解讀並分析其作品之内容，探索其作品的真正意義，藉此引介給港澳讀者對這位台灣作家在文學展上的重要貢獻。首先，前言，說明欧陽子题材的擇及學者的肯定；本論文分五章來研究，第一章敘述欧陽子如何踏上文學创作的道路，在不同创作的陪段中，自我進取地對文學進行實踐，開了女學创作的新道路。第二章探索歐陽子的心路歷程及自我成長的過程，時代背景如何影響她的文學創作。在眼疾千病之困擾下，仍積極地創作，在作品中流露了她對人生的感悟，藉此摘錄相關之句子，分享她在逆境中對人生的體悟。此外，透過分析及解讀《秋葉》小說集的主題及人物，從而了解她创作的人生與真實人生是否相同。第三章就文學界學者對其《秋葉》小說集的批評並引起的論戰作探討，以及學者的評論及歐陽子的回應，了解她創作文學的真正動機。第四章歐陽子與現代文學之關係及其成就。第五章結論。
