There is an old Chinese story about a heroine who disguises herself as a soldier and secretly takes her father place in the imperial army to defeat the Shan-Yu, and it comes down two thousand years. The story just spread in china, Europe hasn’ t the similar type story. The thesis tries to arrange and study the different style texts which write in different period and different area, to analysis the mutual action among narrative, text and culture. Every era has its own literary style. According to the genre, the author try to arrange and study those texts by compare to show the conception and cultural spirit hide in the narrative texts. The paper contains six parts. In part one, by analyses the “Mulan Ci” and “Mulan poem" to find the difference of the theme between two poems. Part two is “Mulan in Temple”, show show official consciousness influence the write. Part three is Mulan’s drama, mainly study Xu Wei and his work “Ci Mulan” and also analysis the drama in the war period. Part four is Mulan' s fiction, mainly analysis the novel in Qing dynasty and also refer to the a Japanese novel “Feng Xiang Wangli". Part four is Mulan in the film and TV, mainly study the Disney cartoon “Mulan "and analysis the factors in its business. 木兰替父从军是一个非常中国化的故事,流传至今已有将近一千六七百年的历史，具有极强的生命力。本文通过对不同时期、不同文体、不同木兰故事文本的梳理，来分析叙事、文本、文化的互动。一时代有一时代之文学。笔者对木兰故事文本进行了文体的区分，并在同一文体内部对不同文本的叙事进行比较分析，力图尽量清晰的展现出叙事背后的时代心理与文化思想。全文分为六章。第一章为诗中木兰，分析了早期的木兰诗歌叙事《木兰辞》和《木兰诗》，揭示出两者之间故事主题的转变;第二章为庙堂里的木兰,对官方意识对木兰的权力书写进行了一定程度的说明;第三章是戏剧木兰重点分析了徐渭与《雌木兰》以及抗战戏剧中对人欲望的剔除;第四章为“小说木兰”，表明清代小说对木兰故事的“大写”及其对木兰人生的压缩似的“小写”，并且对日本作家田中芳树的中国历史小说《风翔万里》进行了解读、。第五章为“影视木兰”集中论述了迪斯尼的动画片《木兰》，对其中的叙事进行了较为详细的解读，揭示出其中的商业运作因素。第六章则具体分析了第者所能掌握的不同木兰故事文本情节因素的选择及其原因，揭示了情节的承接与变化中木兰故事的时代性。关键词:木兰形象、书写、叙事、文本、文化
