Nowadays, many of studies in Cantonese dialect, including 3 areas: Vocabulary、Phonic and Grammar. A majority of them are talking about source of Cantonese dialect、 Characteristic and process of it. Besides that, there are a number of Cantonese dictionary for reference. All the books、 articles and dictionaries prove one thing: Cantonese dialect is a valuable dialect for us to keep on researching. Many of linguistics specialist realized that Cantonese characters have many different commonly-used characters, but they still have not solved this problem yet, therefore, we don't have enough information for that. User of Cantonese characters that live in Hong Kong and Macau create many different characters everyday, it will obstruct communicate with others, and also not suitable to use. Owing to this lack of this part, this thesis paper should set up 5 standards for optimization, and use a table of optimization to elect the “Optimization of Cantonese Characters” out, I hope this thesis paper can get up to solve the problem which the same meaning have different characters. 現在，研究粤語方言的書籍及文章逃不掉三個方面:詞彙、語音語法，大部份爲論述其來源、特點、形成過程等問题，還有數量繁多昀粤方言的字典，種種前人所留下的成果，都足以證明粤方言是個值得研究的方言。 學術界雖然意識到粤字形繁多且混亂情况，但暫未提出解決辦法，因此參考資料也不多。每天大量異形粤字隨之而生，這不僅妨礙粤方言地區的交際，在應用層面上，更会造成使用者不便。本文将訂立五大優化標準，利用粤方言字優化量表把搜集得來的語料進行及分析，從而得出本文期待的最終結果——粤方言優化字，以達到解决“一字多形”的現象，又能促進粤方言字的發展。 關鍵字:粤方字;優化標準;優化量表;粤方言優化字;
