At present, the aging situation in Macao is grim, the average life expectancy of the elderly population has increased, the total number of elderly people has increased, the new population has decreased, and the social dependency ratio has decreased. Various population intergenerational status quos are putting forward higher requirements for the development of social pension industry. The unbalanced employment structure of Macao's working population, the high cost caused by the lack of land resources, the high labor cost, and the single overall industrial structure have restricted the development of its elderly care service industry. In recent years, Macao has actively integrated into the development of the Greater Bay Area, and with the gradual and deeper integration of Guangdong and Macao, the two places have also actively explored the industrialization of elderly care services, learning from each other's strengths and alleviating the pressure of elderly care services through multiple channels. This paper will explore various cooperation paths by studying the respective conditions and feasibility factors of Macao SAR and Guangdong Province in elderly care services, alleviate the current pressure on elderly care services in Macao, and enhance the industrialization level of elderly care services in Macao for mutual benefit and win-win results.
