- Abstract
- The current study aims on the investigation of Chinese independent travelers’ behavior, while many previous studies were mainly tried to provide strategical recommendations on the development of Chinese tourism market in the areas of trip planning and related tourism industry products. However, Chinese independent traveler’s travel behavior has rarely received sufficient attention in China. This study conducted the basic concept of novelty space, as well as a couple of subsets of independent travel forms to interpret the general behavior of Chinese independent travelers and provided an innovative conceptual idea for future tourism research on independent tourists and the related tourism market.
