Abstract
Abstract : The research on the rotational period of asteroids, especially the NEA(Near Earth Asteroids) plays very important role in the evolution of the solar system. In this article, we present a method od applying Fourier series to derive the rotational period of the asteroid 2011UW158 based on the light curves observed during three continuous nights at Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing. Furthermore, the rotational period is also derived by the Cellinoid shape model, which is consistent with the result by Fourier series method. Paragraph Headings: 1. Introduction 2.
