- Abstract
- Objective: To evaluate the result of treatment of epiphora due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction with polyurethane stent. Methods Placement of polyurethane stent under fluoroscopic guidance in 9 femake patients with epiphora due to obstruction of nasolacrimal duct, confirmed by digital dacryocystography. Results Successful placement of stent in all patients without complications. After mean follow-up pf 18months, 8 patients maintain asymptomatic. Conclusion Placement of polyurethane stent is a safe, effective and reversible method for resolution of epiphora due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction. Paragraph Headings： 1. Introduction 2.
