- Abstract
- Abstract : The antiphospholipid syndrome is a disorder of the immune system that is characterized by arterial and venous thrombosis, recurrent miscarriage and presents with antiphospholipid antibodies that have been reported in approximately 2-4% of the general population. Antiphospholipid antibodies have also been detected in over half of patients with immune disease such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Here is a case report of 16 yeary old female presents with fever, palpitation and right lower limb edema.
