- Abstract
- Abstract : One of the complications in Diabetes Mellitus with major impact in the patient's quality of life and high direct costs in healthcare system is the vascular complications due to the frequent hospital admission and consumption of healthcare facilities. By reviewing the cases of the Macao Government Hospital during last 6 years the authors can confirm Diabetes as the leading cause of Lower Limb Amputations and Renal Dialysis. Also the poor metabolic condition in these diabetic patients, and the high mortality rate of diabetic patients under renal dialysis. Paragraph Headings： 1. Introduction 2. Study 2.1.
